Community Yoga classes run at Kununurra Neighbourhood House, 7 Chestnut Avenue, Kununurra.
What can you expect from a community Yoga class? Community Yoga is a one hour vinyasa yoga practice, a flowing yoga linking breath to movement, with the opportunity to connect with your body, and movement while welcoming a mindful present-moment experience. Community Yoga is welcoming to everyone, with all levels of experience, including those new to Yoga. Plenty of options and modifications for yoga forms on offer throughout the hour class, with rest welcomed where needed.
This class is suitable for anyone looking to enhance bodily awareness, relieve stress or anxiety, improve brain health, be physically stronger, or more mobile.

Beginners Yoga Course - 5 weeks
Group Class/ In person
Beginners Yoga Course, welcomes those who are new to Yoga, to a 5 week introduction to yoga. This course will provide an introduction to Hatha vinyasa yoga, a flowing yoga linking breath to movement. Over the 5 weeks, you will be introduced to a number of yoga forms and breathing practices, yogic ideologies and philosophies, while discovering this ancient practice, over 5000 years old.
This class is suitable for anyone who may be new to Yoga, would like a refresh, or ready to go back to basics. Yoga is for everyone, so no need to think you need to be flexible, highly mobile, or already practicing to turn up - Yoga is more about the journey than the destination, so all are welcome!

Puppy Yoga
Trauma Sensitive Space recently teamed up with KANE Animal Welfare Vet, Kununurra, for some Puppy Yoga - A chance to mingle with the puppies, to the theme of play. KANE had 10 special puppy guests who were all up for adoption.
